How delivery works
We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. Items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you will see delivery charges shown at checkout for each part of your order. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.
Delivery areas
Delivery charges apply to mainland UK, excluding: AB, CA, CF, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, KA, KW, KY, IV, LA, LD, LL, ML, NP, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TR, TQ and TD.
If your address is in one of these areas, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm any additional costs. We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.
What to expect on delivery day
- Deliveries are typically kerbside.
- Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
- Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.
Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery
Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.
Returns
Returns depend on what you have bought and whether there is anything wrong with it. For full details on eligibility, timeframes, and exclusions, please see our full policy.

Product Overview
Rockwool SP60 FireStop Slab with a 75mm thickness and total coverage of 2.6 m² per pack. High-density, non-combustible stone wool slab designed to provide firestopping, thermal, and acoustic performance at the junctions of compartment walls and floors.
Engineered for use in curtain walling and cladding interfaces, it offers proven fire resistance and dimensional stability under load and temperature exposure.
Manufactured from molten volcanic rock spun into fine fibres, the slab achieves Euroclass A1 non-combustibility and maintains integrity for up to 120 minutes fire resistance when correctly installed. The robust, semi-rigid structure ensures close friction fit within cavities and movement joints without the need for mechanical restraint.
The 75mm thickness provides efficient fire-stopping performance for medium-rise and general-purpose building applications.
Features & Benefits
- Non-combustible performance: Euroclass A1 reaction-to-fire rating provides up to 60 minutes’ integrity and insulation when tested to relevant standards.
- Thermal and acoustic control: Mineral fibre composition delivers consistent insulation and sound absorption performance.
- Dimensional stability: Retains thickness and density under heat, ensuring maintained fire seal integrity.
- Ease of installation: Semi-rigid format allows compression fit without adhesives or mechanical fixings.
- Durability: Unaffected by moisture, rot, or vermin and retains properties throughout building life.
- Thickness: 75mm slab provides reliable fire-stopping depth for standard building interfaces.
Applications
- Curtain walling: Installed at perimeter floor slab junctions for up to 60 minutes fire containment.
- Compartment walls and floors: Provides fire-stopping in masonry, steel, and concrete structures.
- Perimeter barriers: Used to close gaps between floors and façades in multi-storey buildings.
- Cavity closures: Suitable for sealing voids where medium fire resistance is specified.
Installation Guidance
- Preparation: Ensure cavity or joint is clean, dry, and free of debris before fitting.
- Cutting: Trim slabs accurately using a long-bladed knife or insulation saw for a tight fit.
- Compression fit: Insert slab under slight compression to ensure complete seal across the gap.
- Joint treatment: Butt edges tightly; apply Rockwool FireStop Compound or coated strip if specified.
- Protection: Keep slabs dry prior to installation and protect from weather exposure.
Compliance & Performance
- Material specification: Rock mineral wool insulation manufactured to BS EN 13162.
- Fire classification: Euroclass A1 non-combustible to BS EN 13501-1.
- Fire resistance: Provides up to 60 minutes integrity and insulation (SP60 rating).
- Thermal conductivity: Approximately 0.037 W/m·K.
- Density: Nominal 80–100 kg/m³ for stable fire-stopping performance.
- Environmental compliance: Recyclable and manufactured with high recycled content.
- Important note: Fire performance is dependent on correct system detailing and installation to tested configurations.
