Delivery & Returns Information
Delivery charges vary by product category and order value. Items may ship from different suppliers and arrive separately, so delivery charges can be shown per part of your order at checkout.

How delivery works
We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. Items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you will see delivery charges shown at checkout for each part of your order. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.
Delivery areas
Delivery charges apply to mainland UK, excluding: AB, CA, CF, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, KA, KW, KY, IV, LA, LD, LL, ML, NP, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TR, TQ and TD.
If your address is in one of these areas, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm any additional costs. We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.
What to expect on delivery day
- Deliveries are typically kerbside.
- Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
- Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.
Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery
Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.
Returns
Returns depend on what you have bought and whether there is anything wrong with it. For full details on eligibility, timeframes, and exclusions, please see our full policy.

Product Overview
Aluminium Foil Tape with a 75mm width and 45-metre roll length. Manufactured with a soft, malleable aluminium foil backing and a high-performance pressure-sensitive adhesive, this tape provides an effective seal against air, moisture, and vapour.
Designed for professional insulation and HVAC applications, it delivers excellent adhesion to foil-faced materials and metal surfaces. The reflective aluminium surface enhances thermal efficiency by maintaining insulation continuity and preventing heat loss through joints or seams.
Its conformable foil layer ensures a tight, continuous bond even on irregular or curved surfaces. The intermediate 75mm width provides a balance between broad surface coverage and precision control, making it suitable for both large seams and smaller detailed work.
Features & Benefits
- Reflective aluminium surface: Enhances thermal performance by reflecting heat and light in insulation systems.
- Vapour and moisture barrier: Provides a continuous, airtight seal that prevents condensation and air leakage.
- High adhesive strength: Pressure-sensitive adhesive delivers secure bonding to foil-faced insulation, ductwork, and metal surfaces.
- Thermal conductivity: Aluminium composition allows efficient heat distribution where required.
- Temperature tolerance: Suitable for both low and moderately high temperature environments.
- Conformable and flexible: Adapts easily to curved or uneven surfaces for a seamless finish.
- Durable construction: Resistant to ageing, UV exposure (foil component), and many common chemicals for long service life.
- Roll size 75mm x 45m: Ideal balance between coverage and handling for general insulation and duct sealing work.
Applications
- Foil-faced insulation joints: Seals seams and joints in PIR, phenolic, and mineral wool insulation boards to maintain vapour barriers.
- Pipe lagging: Secures and seals the outer layer of foil-faced pipe insulation to preserve thermal and moisture protection.
- Ventilation ducting (HVAC): Provides airtight joints and seals in rigid or flexible air ducts to improve system efficiency.
- General HVAC and metalwork: Used for metal-to-metal sealing where a vapour-tight or moisture-resistant joint is needed.
- Containment sheeting: Suitable for sealing seams in polythene sheeting for temporary dust or containment barriers.
- Reflective shielding and surface repairs: Can be used to create temporary heat shields or perform minor metallic surface repairs.
Installation Guidance
- Surface preparation: Ensure all surfaces are dry, clean, and free from dust or grease before application.
- Application method: Unroll tape and apply firm, even pressure along the seam or joint to achieve full contact.
- Cutting and handling: Cut to length using a utility knife or scissors; no specialist tools required.
- Overlap joints: When sealing seams, allow sufficient overlap to maintain full vapour continuity.
- Temperature conditions: Apply within the recommended temperature range for best adhesion results.
Compliance & Performance
- Material specification: Soft aluminium foil backing with pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive.
- Thermal and vapour performance: Conforms to standard insulation sealing and HVAC duct sealing requirements.
- Chemical and UV resistance: Maintains adhesion and surface integrity under typical service conditions.
- Service temperature range: Suitable for environments ranging from sub-zero to moderately high operating temperatures.
- Important note: Always confirm compatibility with insulation or duct materials before application in critical systems.
