Product Overview
Heavy-duty green treated trellis panel measuring 6ft x 4ft (1.83m x 1.22m)
Manufactured from pressure-treated softwood battens set within a sturdy perimeter frame, this compact heavy-duty trellis panel is designed for long-term strength and durability.
The green treatment penetrates deep into the timber to provide protection against fungal decay and rot, ensuring suitability for year-round outdoor use.
With its practical 6' x 4' (1.83m x 1.22m) dimensions, this panel offers mid-height coverage, making it ideal for use as a standalone screen, for topping fencing, or for creating a supportive framework to train climbing plants.
The robust lattice design balances structural integrity with open spacing, allowing light and air circulation while still offering effective division of outdoor spaces.
Please Note: Timber is a natural material and variations in colour, grain, and finish should be expected. Dimensions are nominal. Treat cut edges with an appropriate preservative to maintain durability.
Features & Benefits
- Heavy-duty framed construction: Strong perimeter frame and securely fixed battens provide a rigid, long-lasting trellis.
- Pressure-treated timber: Green preservative treatment guards against rot and decay for extended outdoor performance.
- Climbing plant support: Ideal for training roses, clematis, honeysuckle, and other vigorous climbers.
- Balanced lattice spacing: Allows airflow and light penetration while maintaining strength.
- Versatile installation: Suitable for fixing vertically or horizontally depending on garden layout.
- Natural timber finish: Can be left to weather naturally or over-coated with compatible exterior wood stains.
- Mid-height 6' x 4' panel: Provides practical screening and support without full-height coverage.
- Standard 6ft width: Matches typical UK fence bays for easy integration with existing fencing.
Applications
- Garden boundaries: Adds mid-level screening for privacy or to soften property lines.
- Fence toppers: Extends height and decorative appeal above existing panels.
- Decorative screening: Conceals bins, oil tanks, or utility areas while maintaining airflow.
- Plant framework: Offers reliable support for climbing plants in borders and along walls.
- Garden zoning: Divides larger outdoor spaces into distinct areas with a lighter visual footprint than solid fencing.
Installation Guidance
- Fixing method: Secure to timber posts, rails, or solid walls using galvanised or stainless steel fixings to prevent corrosion.
- Ground clearance: Maintain a gap above soil or paving to reduce water exposure and extend lifespan.
- Edge protection: Seal all cut or drilled edges with a compatible timber preservative.
- Alignment: Ensure the panel is level and supported adequately during installation for long-term stability.
Compliance & Performance
- Treated softwood classification: Suitable for external, above-ground use when properly maintained.
- Service life: Treatment provides long-term resistance to rot; regular inspections and retreatment will maximise performance.
- Safety note: Not designed as a fall-protection or load-bearing barrier; check local planning rules regarding fence heights.

How delivery works
We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. Items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you will see delivery charges shown at checkout for each part of your order. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.
Delivery areas
Delivery charges apply to mainland UK, excluding: AB, CA, CF, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, KA, KW, KY, IV, LA, LD, LL, ML, NP, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TR, TQ and TD.
If your address is in one of these areas, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm any additional costs. We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.
What to expect on delivery day
- Deliveries are typically kerbside.
- Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
- Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.
Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery
Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.
Returns
Returns depend on what you have bought and whether there is anything wrong with it. For full details on eligibility, timeframes, and exclusions, please see our full policy.
