A 2m x 25m sheet of 50gsm polypropylene landscape fabric, developed for medium-scale garden and landscaping areas. The spun-bond, non-woven structure blocks sunlight at the soil surface to inhibit germination, while remaining permeable so rainwater, air, and nutrients reach plant roots.
Manufactured from 100% virgin polypropylene, the membrane is rot-proof, chemically inert, and resistant to soil organisms, offering reliable performance under bark, mulch, or decorative gravel. When covered after installation, it delivers durable, low-maintenance weed control without reliance on herbicides.
Designed for domestic landscaping and garden use, the fabric suits beds, borders, and light-use paths where clean presentation and reduced maintenance are priorities. For structural separation, stabilisation, or trafficked driveways, a heavier-grade geotextile should be specified within the sub-base build-up.
With 50m² coverage per roll, this product is suitable for extended borders, long garden paths, or small landscaping projects where continuous coverage is needed. Its length reduces the number of joins, making it efficient for linear or extended layouts.

Cutting and plant positions: Use a sharp knife; for planting, cut a cross-slit, fold back to insert the plant, then refit closely around the stem.
Edging: Tuck edges beneath edging strips or weigh down with aggregate to prevent uplift and light ingress.
Cover depth: Apply a minimum 50mm cover of bark, mulch, soil, or gravel (75mm recommended for paths) to protect from UV and improve appearance.
Aftercare: Inspect periodically for exposed edges or punctures; re-cover and re-pin as required to maintain performance.

Temperature & handling: Suitable for typical ground temperatures; keep away from ignition sources and sharp objects during installation.
End of life: Polypropylene is recyclable where facilities exist; dispose responsibly if recycling is unavailable.
Important note: Always cover with ≥50mm of mulch/aggregate/soil and maintain adequate overlaps and fixings; insufficient cover or incorrect use may reduce service life and performance.

Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.
Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery
Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.
