How delivery works
We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. Items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you will see delivery charges shown at checkout for each part of your order. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.
Delivery areas
Delivery charges apply to mainland UK, excluding: AB, CA, CF, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, KA, KW, KY, IV, LA, LD, LL, ML, NP, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TR, TQ and TD.
If your address is in one of these areas, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm any additional costs. We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.
What to expect on delivery day
- Deliveries are typically kerbside.
- Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
- Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.
Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery
Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.
Returns
Returns depend on what you have bought and whether there is anything wrong with it. For full details on eligibility, timeframes, and exclusions, please see our full policy.

Product Overview
Galvanised steel fixing band with a 25mm width and 10m length. Manufactured from pre-galvanised mild steel, this perforated band provides a durable and adaptable solution for medium to heavy-duty fixing and restraint tasks.
The zinc coating provides corrosion resistance for interior and outdoor sheltered use, while the evenly spaced holes ensure quick, flexible positioning for installation versatility.
The band's 25mm width delivers increased strength and stability, making it suitable for larger components or higher-tension applications.
Features & Benefits
- Corrosion-resistant coating: Zinc-galvanised finish protects the steel against rust and oxidation for long service life.
- Flexible strapping design: Perforated format allows bending, looping, or securing around irregular shapes or surfaces.
- Pre-punched holes: Evenly spaced for convenient screw or bolt fixing without the need for drilling.
- Versatile compatibility: Suitable for use with a wide range of fasteners, including woodscrews and coach bolts.
- Stable under tension: Steel maintains consistent hold under moderate to heavier load without deformation.
- Application suitability: Wider profile provides improved strength and holding power for demanding fixings.
Applications
- Pipe and duct support: Secures larger-diameter pipes, ducts, or suspended services.
- Cable restraint: Provides robust support for grouped or industrial cable runs.
- Timber restraint: Used in structural bracing or secure fastening of larger wooden assemblies.
- Repair or reinforcement: Ideal for strengthening or stabilising structural connections.
Installation Guidance
- Cut to length: Measure and cut the required band length using tin snips or aviation cutters.
- Position and align: Wrap or place the band around the item to be fixed and align the holes to the substrate.
- Secure fixings: Insert screws, bolts, or nails through pre-punched holes and tighten evenly.
- Check tension: Ensure band is taut and secure, avoiding over-tightening which could deform the metal.
Compliance & Performance
- Material specification: Cold-rolled mild steel to BS EN 10346 with GZ275 galvanised zinc coating.
- Corrosion protection: Complies with standard galvanisation requirements for general construction use.
- Temperature range: Suitable for environments between -20°C and +60°C without performance loss.
- Important note: Always select fixing bands appropriate to load requirement and environmental exposure.
