How delivery works
We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. Items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you will see delivery charges shown at checkout for each part of your order. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.
Delivery areas
Delivery charges apply to mainland UK, excluding: AB, CA, CF, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, KA, KW, KY, IV, LA, LD, LL, ML, NP, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TR, TQ and TD.
If your address is in one of these areas, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm any additional costs. We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.
What to expect on delivery day
- Deliveries are typically kerbside.
- Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
- Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.
Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery
Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.
Returns
Returns depend on what you have bought and whether there is anything wrong with it. For full details on eligibility, timeframes, and exclusions, please see our full policy.

Product Overview
Coated white steel fixing band with a 17mm width and 10m length. Manufactured from mild steel with a durable colour-coated finish, this perforated band provides a flexible and secure strapping solution for light to medium-duty fixing applications.
The colour-coated surface provides protective corrosion resistance while adding a durable aesthetic finish suited to visible or interior applications. Evenly spaced holes ensure quick, flexible positioning for installation versatility.
The band's 17mm width provides a broader profile offering increased strength and stability for medium-duty fixings where firmer restraint and tension control are required.
Features & Benefits
- Corrosion-resistant coating: Colour-coated finish protects the steel against moisture, abrasion, and oxidation for durable performance and long service life.
- Flexible strapping design: Perforated format allows bending, looping, or securing around irregular shapes or surfaces.
- Pre-punched holes: Evenly spaced for convenient screw or bolt fixing without the need for drilling.
- Versatile compatibility: Suitable for use with a wide range of fasteners, including woodscrews and coach bolts.
- Stable under tension: Steel maintains consistent hold under moderate to heavier load without deformation.
- Application suitability: Medium width offers greater strength and load-bearing stability for general-purpose or moderately heavy fixings where a firm hold is required.
Applications
- Pipe and duct support: Used to secure medium-diameter pipes, ducts, or conduits to walls or frames.
- Cable restraint: Provides adjustable fastening for general cable management or conduit alignment.
- Timber restraint: Useful for bracing lightweight wooden sections or temporary supports.
- Repair or reinforcement: Ideal for strapping or reinforcing non-structural connections.
Installation Guidance
- Cut to length: Measure and cut the required band length using tin snips or aviation cutters.
- Position and align: Wrap or place the band around the item to be fixed and align the holes to the substrate.
- Secure fixings: Insert screws, bolts, or nails through pre-punched holes and tighten evenly.
- Check tension: Ensure band is taut and secure, avoiding over-tightening which could deform the metal.
Compliance & Performance
- Material specification: Cold-rolled mild steel with a durable polymer-based colour coating.
- Corrosion protection: Coating provides moisture and abrasion resistance for long-term indoor or semi-sheltered use.
- Temperature range: Suitable for environments between -10°C and +50°C without coating degradation or loss of adhesion.
- Important note: Always select fixing bands appropriate to load requirement and environmental exposure.
