Product Overview
160mm x 110mm level invert reducer with a single socket connection, designed for underground foul and surface water drainage systems.
This fitting reduces pipe size from 160mm to 110mm while maintaining a consistent invert level, ensuring that pipe gradients and flow efficiency are not compromised.
Manufactured from durable uPVC to BS EN 1401-1 standards, the reducer provides a watertight push-fit joint for plain-ended pipework.
The single socket design allows direct connection into a larger 160mm drainage run without requiring additional couplers.
Level invert reducers are particularly useful in systems where a smaller branch line must connect seamlessly into a high-capacity main drain, ensuring smooth transitions and reliable hydraulic performance.
Features & Benefits
- uPVC construction: Strong, durable, and resistant to ground chemicals, rot, and corrosion.
- Level invert design: Maintains correct pipe fall and flow performance when reducing size.
- Size compatibility: Connects 160mm drainage runs to 110mm pipework.
- Single socket fitting: Accepts a plain-ended 110mm pipe directly into the reducer.
- Watertight seal: Integrated push-fit gasket ensures leak-free joints.
- Lightweight handling: Easy to transport, position, and install on site.
Applications
- Size reduction: Transitions from a 160mm main drain to a 110mm branch while maintaining invert levels.
- Foul drainage: Connects smaller sewer lines into larger mains without affecting flow.
- Surface water systems: Links rainwater or stormwater pipes of different diameters.
- System integration: Enables mixed-diameter layouts in residential or commercial drainage networks.
- Hydraulic efficiency: Prevents step changes in invert levels, reducing the risk of silt build-up.
Installation Guidance
- Preparation: Cut and chamfer pipe ends, ensuring smooth surfaces before jointing.
- Connection: Insert the 110mm plain-ended pipe fully into the socket seal.
- Alignment: Ensure correct gradient is maintained throughout the drainage run.
- Bedding: Place the reducer on compacted granular material for full support.
- Backfilling: Surround with granular fill before final backfill to protect the joint.
Compliance & Performance
- Standard: Manufactured to BS EN 1401-1.
- Size: 160mm x 110mm reducer.
- Type: Level invert, single socket.
- Material: Unplasticised PVC (uPVC).
- Applications: Suitable for underground foul and surface water drainage systems
- Performance: Maintains invert level while reducing diameter for smooth flow.
- Durability: Resistant to corrosion, chemicals, and long-term ground exposure.

How delivery works
We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. Items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you will see delivery charges shown at checkout for each part of your order. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.
Delivery areas
Delivery charges apply to mainland UK, excluding: AB, CA, CF, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, KA, KW, KY, IV, LA, LD, LL, ML, NP, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TR, TQ and TD.
If your address is in one of these areas, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm any additional costs. We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.
What to expect on delivery day
- Deliveries are typically kerbside.
- Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
- Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.
Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery
Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.
Returns
Returns depend on what you have bought and whether there is anything wrong with it. For full details on eligibility, timeframes, and exclusions, please see our full policy.
