The suitability of each of these types of insulation is very much determined by the application and the performance you are looking to achieve. Rockwool for example is an all round product with good acoustic and fire resistant properties, but it is less thermally efficient that PIR or Multifoil insulation types. Celotex and Actis are both highly efficient from a thermal perspective, however their physical properties vary quite a bit. We would recommend that you review the technical data sheets which are available on the product pages, and consider all of the factors including the technical performance along with the specific application or installation circumstances for your project.

Product Overview
125mm Actis Hybris Multifoil Insulation Panel designed for use in thermal insulation applications. This lightweight multifoil panel is constructed from reflective foil layers surrounding a structured honeycomb core.
The panel provides semi-rigid handling for friction-fit installation and maintains dimensional stability within wall, roof, and floor build-ups. Its reflective outer layers help reduce radiant heat transfer, while the internal honeycomb matrix traps air to enhance overall thermal performance.
Suitable for deeper build-ups requiring enhanced thermal resistance within the insulation layer.
Features & Benefits
- Lightweight multifoil design: Supports easy manual handling and rapid installation.
- Honeycomb internal core: Traps air within a stable cellular matrix to improve thermal resistance.
- Semi-rigid structure: Friction-fits between studs, rafters, or joists for secure placement.
- Reflective foil facings: Help reduce radiant heat transfer and maintain thermal continuity.
- Application suitability: Suitable for walls, roofs, and floors where multifoil insulation is required.
- Thickness: Thicker panel format delivering elevated thermal resistance for improved energy efficiency.
Applications
- Lightweight framed walls: Suitable for fitting between timber or metal studwork.
- Rafter-level roof insulation: Fits between rafters in warm, ventilated, or hybrid roof build-ups.
- Ceiling and loft upgrades: Enhances thermal performance in ceiling or loft zones.
- Floor zones: Can be installed between joists in suspended floors where permitted.
Installation Guidance
- Panel placement: Friction-fit panels between structural members for stable placement.
- Cutting: Trim with a knife or fine-tooth saw for accurate sizing.
- Fixing: Staple foil edges or mechanically fix where required.
- Joint treatment: Seal foil joints with approved reflective tape for continuity.
- Safety: Use appropriate PPE and follow manufacturer guidelines.
Compliance & Performance
- Material: Multifoil composite panel with reflective outer layers and honeycomb internal structure.
- Thermal performance: Assessed to relevant thermal performance standards for multifoil insulation systems.
- Dimensional stability: Designed to maintain form during installation and in service.
- Important note: Ensure the selected thickness meets the project’s thermal performance requirements.

How delivery works
We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. Items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you will see delivery charges shown at checkout for each part of your order. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.
Delivery areas
Delivery charges apply to mainland UK, excluding: AB, CA, CF, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, KA, KW, KY, IV, LA, LD, LL, ML, NP, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TR, TQ and TD.
If your address is in one of these areas, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm any additional costs. We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.
What to expect on delivery day
- Deliveries are typically kerbside.
- Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
- Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.
Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery
Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.
Returns
Returns depend on what you have bought and whether there is anything wrong with it. For full details on eligibility, timeframes, and exclusions, please see our full policy.
