How delivery works
We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. Items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you will see delivery charges shown at checkout for each part of your order. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.
Delivery areas
Delivery charges apply to mainland UK, excluding: AB, CA, CF, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, KA, KW, KY, IV, LA, LD, LL, ML, NP, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TR, TQ and TD.
If your address is in one of these areas, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm any additional costs. We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.
What to expect on delivery day
- Deliveries are typically kerbside.
- Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
- Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.
Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery
Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.
Returns
Returns depend on what you have bought and whether there is anything wrong with it. For full details on eligibility, timeframes, and exclusions, please see our full policy.

Product Overview
110mm wide x 150mm high prestressed concrete floor T beam in a 3600mm length, designed for structural use in residential and commercial flooring systems.
Manufactured from dense concrete and reinforced with prestressed steel wires, the beam is engineered to provide high load-bearing capacity while minimising depth.
Its inverted “T” profile allows precast concrete infill blocks or other floor units to sit securely within the flange, forming a stable, interlocking floor deck.
Produced to rigorous standards, the beam offers durability against weathering, fire, and corrosion, delivering a long service life once installed.
At 3600mm, the beam is suited to medium floor spans in housing and light commercial projects, balancing capacity with efficient installation.
Please note: In certain areas of Scotland and Northern England, a minimum order quantity may apply to specific concrete products.
Features & Benefits
- Load-bearing design: Prestressed concrete reinforced with steel wires provides high structural performance.
- Optimised profile: T-shaped cross-section interlocks with infill blocks to form a stable, monolithic floor deck.
- Durable performance: Resistant to rot, corrosion, and fire exposure.
- Efficient construction: Precast form speeds up site installation compared to in-situ casting.
- Practical size: 3600mm length suited to medium domestic and commercial floor spans.
Applications
- Housing developments: Provides support for medium-span floors in new-build homes.
- Commercial units: Suited to light commercial flooring up to 3.6m spans.
- Refurbishment: Used where existing floors are replaced with precast systems.
- Multi-storey projects: Provides structural floors in low-rise buildings.
Installation Guidance
- Support requirements: Minimum 100mm end bearing onto load-bearing walls or supports.
- Placement: Position beams at correct centres as specified in design drawings.
- Infill units: Lay compatible precast concrete blocks or infill units between beams.
- Grouting: Grout joints to lock the floor system into a monolithic structure.
- Handling: Lift using appropriate mechanical equipment; avoid impact damage.
Compliance & Performance
- Material: Dense concrete reinforced with prestressed steel wires.
- Fire resistance: Non-combustible with inherent fire protection.
- Durability: Resistant to corrosion, rot, and long-term weathering.
- Standards: Manufactured in accordance with BS EN 15037 (Precast beam-and-block floor systems).
- Important note: Always verify load span tables and structural design requirements before specification.
