Product Overview
4 Way Expansion Plugs with a 10mm diameter for secure anchoring in masonry, brick, and blockwork.
Manufactured from high-strength, flexible nylon that resists cracking and deformation under torque, ensuring durable performance across dense and lightweight materials. The split body expands uniformly under screw pressure, delivering a stable, vibration-resistant hold without damaging the substrate.
The 10mm plug size accommodates large gauge screws, providing a reliable fixing for heavy-duty applications. Offers consistent seating and precise alignment where secure anchorage and clean installation are essential.
Features & Benefits
- Four-way expansion design: Expands symmetrically for maximum surface contact and even load transfer.
- High-strength polymer body: Resists cracking, splitting, and fatigue under torque load.
- Secure hold in varied substrates: Performs reliably in solid brick, lightweight block, and masonry.
- Anti-rotation fins: Prevent the plug from spinning during screw insertion for easier installation.
- 10mm plug diameter: Sized to accept large screws, ensuring firm retention without over tightening.
Applications
- Heavy fixings: Suitable for pipe clamps, metal brackets, and heavy shelving.
- Mechanical and electrical fittings: Holds large conduit saddles, trunking, and support rails.
- Industrial or structural use: Secure option for equipment fixings and permanent installations.
Installation Guidance
- Drill hole to correct diameter: Use a 10mm masonry bit to achieve a snug plug fit.
- Clean the drilled hole: Remove dust and debris to ensure maximum grip.
- Insert plug flush with surface: Tap gently until level with wall face.
- Drive compatible screw: Use a screw of suitable gauge and length to expand plug evenly.
Compliance & Performance
- Material specification: Manufactured from impact-resistant nylon for consistent expansion.
- Important note: Always match plug size to the correct drill and screw diameter for full load performance.

How delivery works
We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. Items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you will see delivery charges shown at checkout for each part of your order. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.
Delivery areas
Delivery charges apply to mainland UK, excluding: AB, CA, CF, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, KA, KW, KY, IV, LA, LD, LL, ML, NP, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TR, TQ and TD.
If your address is in one of these areas, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm any additional costs. We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.
What to expect on delivery day
- Deliveries are typically kerbside.
- Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
- Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.
Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery
Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.
Returns
Returns depend on what you have bought and whether there is anything wrong with it. For full details on eligibility, timeframes, and exclusions, please see our full policy.
