Soudal B2 Fire Rated Expanding Foam Gun Grade 750ml is a one-component, self-expanding polyurethane (PU) foam that’s ready to use straight from the can. PU is known for its excellent adhesion and high filling capacity towards materials, by solidifying a bond that prevents air and moisture infiltration.
The B2 foam is compliant with EN1366-4, offering fire resistance of up to 2 hours depending on the joint configuration, providing idle time in the event of an emergency. On top of this, the HCFC and CFC-free propellants are not harmful to the ozone layer.
Another feature of the B2 expanding foam is its excellent stability, as it is capable of resisting shrinkage or post-expansion, resulting in a cost-effective and high-density insulation solution.
Furthermore, the expanding foam boasts an impressive acoustic rating of 58db, offering optimal sound insulation alongside an effective energy efficiency with its insulation factor of 36 mW/mK.
