What is Soudal B1 Genius Gun Fire & Acoustic Expanding Foam 600ml?
Trade Expanding Foam B1 Genius is a single-component, self-expanding PU foam that is ready to use. It contains HCFC- and CFC-free propellants, making it safe for the ozone layer.
It features the unique, patented Genius Gun adapter system, designed to provide maximum comfort during application alongside one-handed operation.
The expanding foam has thermal and auditory insulation capabilities, such as a free foamed density of approximately 40kg/m3 and sound insulation of up to 58 dB. Furthermore, it has a temperature resistance of -40°C to +90°C.
Once the foam from the container has been propelled out, it then is activated by moisture, creating a stable, thixotropic foam with a skin formation time of 8.5 minutes. After curing, the foam shows less than 5% shrinkage, and no post-expansion.
