Product Overview
Heavy Duty Builders & Plasterers Mixing Bucket with a 5-gallon capacity. Rigid, high-strength container engineered for professional trade and site use where durability and stability are essential.
Manufactured from heavy-duty white polypropylene, it provides exceptional impact resistance and reliable performance for mixing and transporting plaster, mortar, or other liquid and granular materials.
The reinforced rim and steel carry handle with plastic grip ensure secure handling under full load, maintaining balance and comfort during transport.
Its smooth internal surface minimises material adhesion, promoting faster cleaning and longer working life in repetitive mixing applications. The 5-gallon capacity offers ample volume for batch mixing of plasters, renders, and general construction compounds.
Features & Benefits
- Durable construction: Made from heavy-duty, impact-resistant polypropylene to withstand the rigours of daily trade use.
- Comfortable handling: Equipped with a reinforced steel handle and moulded plastic grip for secure, comfortable carrying even when filled.
- Clean finish: Smooth-walled interior prevents build-up of plaster or cement residues, allowing easy rinsing between mixes.
- Stable design: Broad base and reinforced rim maintain bucket shape and prevent flexing or tipping during mixing or transport.
- Gallon capacity: 5-gallon size provides generous mixing volume for plastering and general construction materials while maintaining manageable handling weight.
Applications
- Plastering and rendering: Designed for mixing plaster, render, and bonding compounds on site.
- Construction and building: Suitable for preparing mortar, cement, or jointing materials in trade environments.
- Cleaning and maintenance: Useful for carrying water, cleaning solutions, or waste materials during site clean-up.
- Workshop and fabrication: Practical for mixing adhesives, resins, or other bulk materials in controlled volumes.
Installation Guidance
- Check stability: Always position bucket on a firm, level surface before mixing.
- Avoid overfilling: Fill to below the rim to prevent spills and maintain balance when lifting.
- Clean after use: Rinse thoroughly after each use to prevent setting of residual materials.
- Inspect handle: Ensure the handle and grip are intact and securely fitted before carrying.
Compliance & Performance
- Material specification: Constructed from high-strength polypropylene offering superior impact and fatigue resistance.
- Temperature range: Suitable for use with water and mixtures up to 60°C without distortion.
- Chemical resistance: Resistant to common cleaning agents, plaster admixtures, and site chemicals.
- Important note: Not intended for storage of food, solvents, or flammable substances.

How delivery works
We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. Items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you will see delivery charges shown at checkout for each part of your order. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.
Delivery areas
Delivery charges apply to mainland UK, excluding: AB, CA, CF, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, KA, KW, KY, IV, LA, LD, LL, ML, NP, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TR, TQ and TD.
If your address is in one of these areas, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm any additional costs. We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.
What to expect on delivery day
- Deliveries are typically kerbside.
- Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
- Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.
Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery
Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.
Returns
Returns depend on what you have bought and whether there is anything wrong with it. For full details on eligibility, timeframes, and exclusions, please see our full policy.
