Product Overview

Everbuild Everflex 195 Siliconised Acrylic Sealant in White, supplied in a 300 ml cartridge. This high-performance sealant combines acrylic flexibility with silicone enhancement to deliver a permanently flexible, long-lasting joint for internal and external use. 

It provides excellent adhesion to timber, metal, PVCu, stone, plaster, brickwork, and concrete surfaces. The formulation incorporates a powerful fungicide, ensuring resistance to mould and mildew in damp or humid environments. 

The sealant can be overpainted once cured, providing a seamless finish in decorative and construction applications. It is presented as a ready-to-use thixotropic paste with low slump characteristics and a service temperature range of –15 °C to +75 °C.

Installation Guidance

• Surface Preparation: Ensure all substrates are clean, sound, and free from dust, grease, and loose material before application.
• Priming: Apply Everbuild PVA Bond diluted 1:4 with water to prime highly porous surfaces such as new plaster.
• Application Method: Cut cartridge tip and nozzle at a 45° angle; apply using a standard sealant gun while maintaining steady pressure for an even bead.
• Finishing: Tool and smooth within 20 minutes using a wetted spatula or finger; avoid excessive water which can delay curing.
• Curing Time: Tack-free in 15–60 minutes; full cure in 3–5 days depending on bead thickness, temperature, and humidity.
• Overpainting: Allow a surface skin to form before painting; compatibility testing is advised for flexible coatings.

• Standard Compliance: Certified to EN 15651 for façade sealing applications (internal and external) under the Construction Products Regulation.
• Movement Capability: Rated ± 12.5% for low-to-medium movement joints.
• Hardness: Shore A value approximately 22 for durable elasticity.
• Density: 1.65–1.67 g/cm³ with ~82% solid content for reliable coverage.
• Chemical Resistance: Fair resistance to dilute acids, alkalis, and aliphatic hydrocarbons; poor resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons.
• Storage: Store unopened between 5 °C and 25 °C; protect from frost. Shelf life 36 months.
• Important Note: Not suitable for use with bituminous materials, in permanently wet areas, or in conditions of continuous water immersion. Avoid external exposure to rain or high humidity for 12 hours after application.
