Nozzle Preparation
- Cut the nozzle at a 45-degree angle and pierce the membrane before use.
Sealant Gun
- Utilise a standard sealant gun for consistent dispensing.
Direct Bond Method
- Adhesive Application: Apply a 6mm bead in a zigzag pattern along the item to be fixed.
- Panel Installation: For panels, place centre beads spaced up to 350mm apart.
- Pressing: Firmly press the item into place, ensuring even pressure.
- Curing Time: Allow the adhesive to cure for 24-48 hours. Provide temporary support for heavy items if necessary.
Double Stick Method
- Initial Application: Apply adhesive as in the Direct Bond Method.
- Pressing: Immediately press the item to ensure adequate adhesive transfer.
- Separation: Gently pull away to enhance transfer between surfaces.
- Drying: Allow the adhesive to dry for about 5 minutes before repositioning.
- Final Positioning: Press the item back into place and allow 24 hours for curing.
