Product Overview
Everbuild Gun Grade Expanding Foam supplied in a 750ml canister is a professional polyurethane-based expanding foam designed for use with gun applicators. It expands up to 50 times its original volume, forming a dense, medium-fine cell structure that effectively fills, seals, and insulates cavities and gaps.
The formulation cures rapidly, tack-free in around 8 minutes and ready for cutting or plastering within approximately one hour, offering an efficient, clean, and controllable application process.
This foam provides strong adhesion to a wide range of construction materials, including concrete, brick, plaster, timber, and metal, making it highly versatile across building and installation tasks. Its cured bead delivers long-term load-bearing stability after around 12 hours and remains resilient to both temperature fluctuation and moisture exposure.
It provides thermal conductivity of 0.04 W/mK and demonstrates excellent sound-deadening properties, improving both energy efficiency and acoustic insulation. Designed specifically for use with gun foam applicators, it delivers accurate dosing and reduced waste during application.
The cured foam withstands long-term temperature ranges between -40 °C and +80 °C, and short-term exposure up to +100 °C, ensuring stability and durability under varying environmental conditions. The 750ml can yields approximately 37 litres of expanded foam when fully cured.
Features & Benefits
- Quick Setting Time: Cures within approximately one hour, allowing the filled area to be cut, sawn, or plastered shortly after application.
- High Expansion Rate: Expands up to 50 times its can volume, enabling effective filling of wide or irregular cavities with minimal material use.
- Excellent Adhesion: Bonds securely to common building materials including wood, metal, brick, stone, and concrete, ensuring reliable structural support.
- Thermal and Acoustic Insulation: Provides a thermal conductivity of 0.04 W/mK and reduces sound transmission through filled voids and joints.
- Durable and Stable: Maintains full load-bearing performance after 12 hours and resists degradation across a broad temperature range from -40 °C to +100 °C (short-term).
- Controlled Application: Formulated for use with professional gun applicators, allowing precision control, reduced overspray, and cleaner results.
- Can Size – 750ml: Expands to approximately 37 litres of cured foam, suitable for extensive sealing and insulation work.
Applications
- Gap Filling: Ideal for sealing around pipe penetrations, window frames, door frames, and irregular masonry voids.
- Framework Fixing: Used to anchor door and window frames, timber structures, and thresholds securely in place.
- Pre-Plaster Preparation: Suitable for electrical chases and deep joints before the application of plaster or sealant.
- Thermal Insulation: Provides insulation behind exterior wall cladding, soffits, and barge boards to improve building efficiency.
- Acoustic Sealing: Reduces airborne sound through cavity walls and structural joints.
Installation Guidance
- Surface Preparation: Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust or debris. Lightly moisten surfaces with water to assist curing.
- Application Method: Shake the can vigorously about 20 times before use. Attach securely to the gun applicator, keeping the can inverted during dispensing.
- Filling Guidance: Only partially fill cavities; the foam will expand to fill remaining voids. Excess can be trimmed after curing.
- Cleaning: Clean nozzle and valve immediately after use with Everbuild Dual Purpose Foam Cleaner. Cured foam must be removed mechanically.
- Safety Precautions: Always wear protective gloves and eye protection. Do not pierce or burn the canister. Store and transport away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
Compliance & Performance
- Material Composition: One-component polyurethane-based expanding foam.
- Thermal Conductivity: 0.04 W/mK in accordance with DIN 52612.
- Compressive Strength: 5 N/cm² at 10% stress (DIN 53421).
- Tensile Strength: 18 N/cm² (DIN 53455).
- Shear Strength: 8 N/cm² (DIN 53422).
- Temperature Resistance: Long-term stability from -40 °C to +80 °C; short-term up to +100 °C.
- Building Material Class: B3 according to DIN standards.
- Shelf Life: 12 months when stored upright between 15 °C and 20 °C in original packaging.
- Important Note: Pressurised container - store away from heat and sunlight. Clean application equipment before foam cures. Always observe safety data sheet (MSDS) and local handling regulations.

How delivery works
We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. Items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you will see delivery charges shown at checkout for each part of your order. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.
Delivery areas
Delivery charges apply to mainland UK, excluding: AB, CA, CF, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, KA, KW, KY, IV, LA, LD, LL, ML, NP, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TR, TQ and TD.
If your address is in one of these areas, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm any additional costs. We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.
What to expect on delivery day
- Deliveries are typically kerbside.
- Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
- Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.
Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery
Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.
Returns
Returns depend on what you have bought and whether there is anything wrong with it. For full details on eligibility, timeframes, and exclusions, please see our full policy.
