Product Overview
Everbuild Fix & Fill Expanding Foam Hand Held in a 750ml aerosol can is a one-part, quick-setting polyurethane foam designed for general filling, sealing, and insulation tasks.
The foam expands up to 150% of its original volume when applied, creating a firm, closed-cell structure with medium-fine texture and durable adhesion to most common building materials. It provides excellent gap-filling capability where irregular voids or oversized joints occur, particularly around frames, penetrations, and service entries.
Once cured, the foam can be cut, sawn, or plastered over within one hour when applied under optimal conditions of approximately +20°C.
The 750ml capacity delivers an expansion yield of approximately 41 litres, making it suitable for both professional trade and maintenance applications where high coverage and ease of use are required.
Features & Benefits
- Quick Setting Formula: Can be cut, sawn, or plastered after approximately one hour of curing under recommended conditions.
- High Expansion Rate: Expands up to 55 times its original volume, filling large and irregular voids efficiently.
- Excellent Adhesion: Bonds securely to stone, concrete, brick, plaster, timber, and metal surfaces.
- Thermal and Acoustic Insulation: Provides effective sound deadening and thermal resistance once cured.
- Easy to Use: Hand-held can with attachable nozzle for direct, controlled application.
- Versatile Application: Suitable for filling, fixing, and insulating in construction and renovation work.
- Temperature Range: Working temperature between +5°C and +30°C; optimum performance at +20°C.
- Durability: Cured foam remains stable from -40°C to +80°C in long-term exposure, and up to +100°C short-term.
- Can Size – 750ml: Provides an expansion yield of approximately 41 litres, allowing extensive coverage from a single can.
Applications
- Gap Filling: Sealing gaps around pipe entries, electrical chases, and service penetrations.
- Frame Installation: Filling voids around window and door frames to secure and insulate.
- Pre-Plastering Preparation: Sealing deep joints and irregular voids before plastering or sealing.
- Structural Fixing: Stabilising door frames, window sills, and thresholds.
- Insulation: Filling cavities behind cladding, soffits, and barge boards to reduce heat loss.
Installation Guidance
- Surface Preparation: Ensure all surfaces are clean, sound, and lightly moistened with water to promote curing.
- Can Preparation: Shake the can vigorously around 20 times before use and attach the nozzle carefully without overtightening.
- Application Position: Always apply with the can held upside down for proper foam delivery.
- Filling Technique: Fill cavities only partially, as the foam will expand to occupy the remaining space.
- Cleaning: Remove excess uncured foam immediately using Everbuild Foam Cleaner; cured foam must be cut away or removed mechanically.
- Support During Curing: When fixing door or window frames, use temporary supports until the foam has fully cured.
Compliance & Performance
- Material Composition: One-part polyurethane-based foam supplied in pressurised aerosol form.
- Expansion Volume: Approximately 41 litres per 750ml can under standard conditions.
- Cell Structure: Medium-fine closed-cell formation for balanced rigidity and insulation.
- Fire Classification: Building Material Class B3 in accordance with DIN standards.
- Shelf Life: 12 months when stored upright between +10°C and +20°C in original sealed containers.
- Storage Conditions: Keep out of direct sunlight and do not expose to temperatures above +50°C; pressurised container.
- Safety Guidance: Always wear protective gloves and eye protection during use. Clean nozzle and valve tip immediately after use.
- Important Note: Do not pierce or burn the container, even after use. Store and transport upright, away from heat sources and open flames.

How delivery works
We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. Items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you will see delivery charges shown at checkout for each part of your order. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.
Delivery areas
Delivery charges apply to mainland UK, excluding: AB, CA, CF, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, KA, KW, KY, IV, LA, LD, LL, ML, NP, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TR, TQ and TD.
If your address is in one of these areas, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm any additional costs. We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.
What to expect on delivery day
- Deliveries are typically kerbside.
- Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
- Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.
Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery
Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.
Returns
Returns depend on what you have bought and whether there is anything wrong with it. For full details on eligibility, timeframes, and exclusions, please see our full policy.
