Product Overview
Everbuild Dual Purpose PU Foam Cleaner supplied in a 500ml aerosol can. This solvent-based cleaner is specifically formulated for removing all uncured polyurethane foams from application guns, nozzles, and surrounding surfaces.
It can be used either with professional gun foam applicators or independently via the supplied spray nozzle. Designed for efficient cleaning and maintenance, it ensures that foam guns remain operational and free from residue build-up, significantly extending their service life.
The fast-acting solvent breaks down uncured foam residues effectively without damaging most common building substrates. Ideal for both professional and DIY use, this cleaner maintains high tool hygiene and reliable performance for continued foam application work.
Features & Benefits
- Dual Function Design: Can be used both as a gun-mounted cleaning system and as a handheld spray for external cleaning tasks.
- Effective Solvent Formula: Rapidly dissolves uncured polyurethane foam residues before they harden, preventing blockages and tool damage.
- Equipment Longevity: Enables repeat use of expensive foam guns by maintaining internal cleanliness and valve movement.
- Practical Accessory: Includes a detachable red nozzle for cleaning DIY-grade foam applicator straws and external gun surfaces.
- Surface Safe Use: Suitable for use on most building materials when compatibility is checked beforehand.
- Storage Efficiency: Allows up to 7 days of safe storage for guns containing foam when exterior residues are removed after use.
- Can Volume: Supplied in a 500ml aerosol for convenient handling and multiple cleanings.
Applications
- Gun and Nozzle Cleaning: For clearing uncured foam residues from PU foam applicator guns and dispensing nozzles.
- Surface Cleaning: For removing wet or spilt foam from building materials and adjacent areas.
- Maintenance Use: For periodic purging of guns to prevent clogging and ensure consistent foam flow.
Installation Guidance
- Surface Protection: Mask surrounding areas with impervious tape before cleaning to avoid solvent attack.
- Gun Cleaning Procedure: Attach the cleaner can to the gun adapter and discharge solvent until the outflow is clear. Repeat several times for complete removal of residues.
- External Cleaning: Use the supplied spray nozzle to remove foam from the outer surfaces of guns and other affected areas.
- DIY Use: Fit the red nozzle and flush foam through plastic applicator tubes until fully clean.
- Post-Use Maintenance: Always clean the gun adapter threads when changing foam cans and never use water, which will cure the foam instantly.
Compliance & Performance
- Composition: Solvent-based formulation designed for use with polyurethane foam residues.
- Performance: Removes only uncured foam; cured foam must be removed mechanically.
- Shelf Life: 12 months when stored in cool, dry conditions between +5°C and +25°C.
- Packaging: 500ml aerosol can fitted for both gun and nozzle application.
- Important Note: Always wear gloves and goggles when using. Avoid contact with sensitive surfaces and ensure adequate ventilation during application.

How delivery works
We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. Items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you will see delivery charges shown at checkout for each part of your order. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.
Delivery areas
Delivery charges apply to mainland UK, excluding: AB, CA, CF, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, KA, KW, KY, IV, LA, LD, LL, ML, NP, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TR, TQ and TD.
If your address is in one of these areas, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm any additional costs. We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.
What to expect on delivery day
- Deliveries are typically kerbside.
- Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
- Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.
Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery
Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.
Returns
Returns depend on what you have bought and whether there is anything wrong with it. For full details on eligibility, timeframes, and exclusions, please see our full policy.
