How delivery works
We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. Items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you will see delivery charges shown at checkout for each part of your order. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.
Delivery areas
Delivery charges apply to mainland UK, excluding: AB, CA, CF, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, KA, KW, KY, IV, LA, LD, LL, ML, NP, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TR, TQ and TD.
If your address is in one of these areas, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm any additional costs. We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.
What to expect on delivery day
- Deliveries are typically kerbside.
- Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
- Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.
Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery
Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.
Returns
Returns depend on what you have bought and whether there is anything wrong with it. For full details on eligibility, timeframes, and exclusions, please see our full policy.

Product Overview
Everbuild 5 Minute Polyurethane Wood Glue Gel in a 310ml cartridge is a fast-setting, high-strength adhesive designed for structural and joinery applications where speed and precision are essential.
This polyurethane-based gel formula provides a thixotropic, non-drip consistency that allows controlled use on vertical or overhead surfaces without running.
It forms a durable, water-resistant bond suitable for both interior and exterior timber work, expanding slightly on curing to fill small surface gaps for enhanced joint strength.
With a five-minute initial set time, it delivers a rapid, reliable bond for demanding woodworking and assembly environments. Certified to EN 204 D4 strength classification, it provides full waterproof performance and long-term durability under varying environmental conditions.
Features & Benefits
- Fast Setting Formula: Achieves an initial bond within five minutes, reducing assembly time and improving productivity compared to slower-setting adhesives.
- Thixotropic Gel Consistency: Maintains a stable, non-drip form for clean, precise application on vertical, angled, or overhead surfaces.
- High Bond Strength: Creates a permanent, structural-quality bond that resists stress and loading across a wide range of timber materials.
- Waterproof to EN 204 D4 Standard: Ensures long-term resistance to moisture and weathering for both interior and exterior joinery.
- Slight Expansion on Curing: Expands subtly during polymerisation to fill minor surface irregularities and improve joint integrity.
- Chemical and Ageing Resistance: Retains bond strength and flexibility when exposed to heat, solvents, and environmental ageing.
- Solvent-Free Composition: Formulated from pure polyurethane prepolymers and catalysts, providing a low-hazard, professional-grade adhesive.
- Cartridge Volume – 310ml: Supplied in a 310ml cartridge for standard applicator use, providing consistent delivery and controlled bead size.
Applications
- Wood Jointing and Assembly: Creates durable, high-strength joints in furniture, frames, and joinery components.
- Door and Window Frame Construction: Bonds securely for long-term performance under load and exposure.
- Staircase and Ladder Manufacture: Delivers structural adhesion to withstand heavy use and mechanical stress.
- Furniture Production: Enables fast, precise joining for efficient manufacturing processes.
- Insulation and Panel Bonding: Adheres to foam, fibreboard, and composite panels, improving rigidity and gap filling.
- General Construction Use: Suitable for wood, MDF, chipboard, and other porous materials where durable, moisture-resistant bonding is required.
Installation Guidance
- Surface Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from oil, dust, or contaminants before application.
- Adhesive Application: Apply a thin, even bead using a standard cartridge gun; one surface should be slightly damp to aid curing.
- Assembly Time: Position and clamp materials within three minutes of application for optimal bond formation.
- Setting and Curing: Initial bond achieved within five minutes; full cure typically reached within 24 hours depending on temperature and humidity.
- Cleanup: Remove uncured adhesive with solvent or cleaner; cured material must be removed mechanically.
Compliance & Performance
- Adhesive Type: One-part, moisture-curing polyurethane gel adhesive.
- Strength Classification: Certified to EN 204 D4 for waterproof exterior-grade bonding performance.
- Temperature Resistance: Stable performance in varying temperatures once fully cured.
- Chemical Resistance: Resistant to diluted acids, alkalis, and most solvents.
- Storage Conditions: Store upright in a cool, dry environment below 25°C to maintain consistency and shelf life.
- Important Note: Always wear gloves and eye protection when handling; adhesive bonds skin immediately and may irritate eyes.
