Product Overview
Easy Trim Master Breather Membrane in a 50m x 1.5m roll, providing 75m² of coverage, designed as a high-performance breathable underlay for pitched roofs and timber frame walls.
This advanced membrane delivers dual functionality: it prevents external water ingress while allowing internal moisture vapour to escape. By maintaining this critical balance, the membrane safeguards roof structures from condensation-related damage, including timber decay, insulation deterioration, and mould growth.
Suitable for use in warm, cold, and hybrid roof constructions, it performs consistently in both fully supported (direct to sheathing boards) and unsupported (draped between rafters) applications. Its wider 1.5m format minimises overlaps on large roof areas, reducing waste and improving installation efficiency.
The membrane is engineered to withstand all five wind zones defined by BS5534:2014 Annex A, meaning it can be confidently specified for both sheltered inland properties and exposed coastal or high-altitude locations.

- Warm, cold, and hybrid roofs: Compatible with multiple roof configurations.
- Timber frame walls: Functions as a breathable sheathing membrane.
- Fully supported and unsupported installations: Direct to boards or draped between rafters.
- Exposed locations: Suitable for all UK wind zones, including coastal and high-altitude sites.
Installation Guidance
- Substrate preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean and dry before application.
- Fixing: Secure using corrosion-resistant staples, nails, or fixing tapes as appropriate.
- Laps: Overlap horizontal joints by at least 100mm (or more in high wind zones).
- Drape: In unsupported installations, allow sufficient drape between rafters to channel moisture.
- UV exposure: Cover within 3 months to protect from long-term degradation.
- Compatibility: Always install with reference to BS5534:2014 and manufacturer’s guidance.
Compliance & Performance
- Certification: BBA certified for use in UK construction.

How delivery works
We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. Items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you will see delivery charges shown at checkout for each part of your order. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.
Delivery areas
Delivery charges apply to mainland UK, excluding: AB, CA, CF, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, KA, KW, KY, IV, LA, LD, LL, ML, NP, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TR, TQ and TD.
If your address is in one of these areas, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm any additional costs. We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.
What to expect on delivery day
- Deliveries are typically kerbside.
- Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
- Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.
Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery
Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.
Returns
Returns depend on what you have bought and whether there is anything wrong with it. For full details on eligibility, timeframes, and exclusions, please see our full policy.
