What is Easy-Trim Comb Filler 1m?
The Easy-Trim Comb Filler 1m is an innovative roofing accessory designed to create a physical barrier at the eaves of your roof. This simple yet effective solution prevents birds, bats, and insects from entering the roof void between the tiles and felt, reducing the risk of nesting, infestation, and the associated issues that can arise. It is particularly useful for maintaining the integrity of your home by protecting it from the unwanted damage caused by common pests.
Benefits
- Prevents Entry of Birds, Bats, and Insects: Acts as a physical deterrent, ensuring that pests cannot enter the roof space. This helps to reduce the likelihood of nest-building, which can lead to other problems.
- Flexible and Lightweight Design: Constructed from flexible materials, the comb filler is suitable for a variety of tile profiles. It can be easily shaped to fit different roof designs, ensuring a secure seal at the eaves.
- Protects Roof Materials: Prevents damage to roofing materials from acidic bird droppings and nesting debris, which can weaken and deteriorate roof components over time.
- Prevents Water Damage: By blocking entry points for pests, the comb filler helps reduce the risk of moisture buildup and potential leaks in the roof structure.
- Cost-Effective Solution: A simple, affordable way to protect your home from costly roof repairs and pest-related issues, saving you money in the long run.
- Easy Maintenance: Once installed, it requires little to no upkeep, offering lasting protection with minimal effort.
Why Keeping Birds and Insects Out of Your Roof Matters
When birds or large insects gain access to your roof space, they can cause a number of issues. Nesting birds can damage roof materials, while insects like wasps or bees may create nests that disrupt the integrity of the structure. Additionally, droppings from birds or pests can create acidic residue that weakens roofing materials and increases the risk of leaks.
Not only does the Easy-Trim Comb Filler prevent these issues, but it also helps maintain the overall health of your roof by reducing the likelihood of infestations, ensuring your roof remains intact and secure.

How delivery works
We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. Items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you will see delivery charges shown at checkout for each part of your order. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.
Delivery areas
Delivery charges apply to mainland UK, excluding: AB, CA, CF, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, KA, KW, KY, IV, LA, LD, LL, ML, NP, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TR, TQ and TD.
If your address is in one of these areas, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm any additional costs. We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.
What to expect on delivery day
- Deliveries are typically kerbside.
- Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
- Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.
Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery
Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.
Returns
Returns depend on what you have bought and whether there is anything wrong with it. For full details on eligibility, timeframes, and exclusions, please see our full policy.
