Installation Guidance
Surface preparation: Clean all substrates of loose debris, grease, dust, or contaminants before applying mortar. Dampen porous surfaces lightly without leaving standing water.
Mixing procedure: Add 100–150ml of clean, cold water per 1kg of mortar powder. Mix by hand or mechanical mixer until a smooth, workable paste is achieved.
Application method: Apply the mixed mortar using a trowel, pointing tool, or hawk in accordance with standard masonry practice. Work within the one-hour usable period.
Workability control: Do not re-temper or add extra water once setting has begun, as this may reduce strength and durability.
Temperature guidance: Use only when ambient and substrate temperatures are between +5°C and +25°C.
Cleaning: Wash all tools and equipment with warm soapy water immediately after use, before the mortar hardens.

What to expect on delivery day

Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.
Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery
Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.
