How delivery works
We work with a nationwide network of trusted suppliers. Items in your basket may be supplied by different suppliers and delivered separately. Where this applies, you will see delivery charges shown at checkout for each part of your order. We always aim to group products from the same supplier to keep delivery costs as low as possible.
Delivery areas
Delivery charges apply to mainland UK, excluding: AB, CA, CF, DD, DG, EH, EX, FK, KA, KW, KY, IV, LA, LD, LL, ML, NP, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TR, TQ and TD.
If your address is in one of these areas, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm any additional costs. We do not currently offer delivery outside the UK mainland.
What to expect on delivery day
- Deliveries are typically kerbside.
- Please ensure someone is on-site to accept delivery. For heavier items, help with offloading may be required.
- Many building materials arrive on large vehicles. If access is restricted, a specialist vehicle such as a HIAB may be required and could incur an additional charge.
Why delivery can cost more than typical parcel delivery
Building materials often travel on larger vehicles and usually carry fewer drops per run than parcel networks. That is why delivery charges can be higher than standard e-commerce shipping.
Returns
Returns depend on what you have bought and whether there is anything wrong with it. For full details on eligibility, timeframes, and exclusions, please see our full policy.

Product Overview
50mm x 50mm metal ceiling angle for perimeter support in suspended ceiling construction.
This angle forms the wall and soffit edge framework into which suspended ceiling systems are fixed. Acting as a boundary channel, it creates a continuous ledge that supports ceiling grids or plasterboard linings around the perimeter of a room.
With its 50mm x 50mm profile, the section provides a wide fixing surface and enhanced rigidity, ensuring a strong and stable perimeter framework. This makes it well-suited to applications where long runs, heavier use, or larger spaces require enhanced edge restraint.
Galvanised steel construction ensures strength and resistance to corrosion, supporting reliable long-term performance in varied environments.
At 3600mm length, it reduces the number of joints required across wall runs, maintaining continuity and simplifying installation.
Features & Benefits
- Perimeter support: Provides a wide, stable ledge for suspended ceiling systems around room edges.
- Edge restraint: Holds ceiling grids or plasterboard securely in position along walls and soffits.
- Alignment control: Establishes a straight and accurate ceiling boundary for a professional finish.
- Durable material: Galvanised steel construction resists corrosion and ensures dependable service life.
- Wide section profile: Large 50mm x 50mm dimensions increase surface contact and deliver additional stability.
Applications
- Suspended ceiling boundary: Forms the perimeter framework into which grids and linings are secured.
- Plasterboard ceilings: Provides a stable edge support for board fixing.
- Commercial and public buildings: Well-suited to larger-scale ceiling installations requiring a stable perimeter.
- Extended spans: Provides reliable perimeter restraint in spaces where long ceiling runs or heavy use are expected.
Installation Guidance
- Preparation: Mark ceiling perimeter line clearly on walls or soffits.
- Fixing method: Secure angle firmly to supporting substrate using appropriate fasteners.
- Jointing: Abut or overlap angles as required to form a continuous perimeter line.
- Framework integration: Fix ceiling grids or plasterboard frameworks directly into the perimeter angle.
- Handling care: Avoid bending or distorting sections during cutting and fixing.
Compliance & Performance
- Material specification: Manufactured from galvanised steel for strength and corrosion resistance.
- System role: Provides robust perimeter restraint with increased fixing surface and stability.
- Important note: Non-loadbearing component designed for perimeter edge support only.
